The hotel is situated in a nice residential area opposite Sefton Park with park views during breakfast. The rooms are a bit on the small side with early noise from bin operators, but the location is excellent near good restaurants and coffee shops. The dining offers mostly fried options with limited healthy choices. Overall, a nice place close to the park and amenities.

The hotel was tiny and definitely needed a refurbish, but it was perfectly adequate. The bathroom was small, and some facilities never worked. Despite these issues, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the location, opposite the park and close to cafes, restaurants, and pubs, was great. The dining experience offered a mixture of cooked English and a few cereals and pastries, though there were some drawbacks. A good will gesture refund was appreciated. Overall, the hotel provided a decent stay with room for improvement.
